Medium Blue Geode Bowl Copper Blue

This​ ​hand​ ​built​ ​porcelain​ ​bowl​ ​is​ ​reminiscent​ ​of​ ​a​ ​cut​ ​geode.​ ​The​ ​textured​ ​exterior​ ​of​ ​this​ ​porcelain​ ​bowl​ ​is​ ​left​ ​unglazed,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​interior​ ​of​ ​the​ ​dish​ ​is​ ​coated​ ​with​ ​a​ ​copper​ ​blue​ ​glaze.​ ​


The​ ​soft​ ​translucent​ ​blue​ ​green​ ​pools​ ​in​ ​the​ ​center​ ​and​ ​sometimes​ ​forms​ ​random​ ​crackles.​ ​The​ ​pools​ ​in​ ​the​ ​center​ ​sometimes​ ​form​ ​clouds​ ​of​ ​white,​ ​pale​ ​blues,​ ​greens​ ​and​ ​even​ ​violet.​ ​

This​ ​glaze​ ​is​ ​food​ ​and​ ​​ ​dishwasher​ ​safe.​ ​

This​ ​bowl​ ​measures​ ​approximately​ ​7”​ ​diameter​ ​and​ ​2'​ ​tall.​ ​

These​ ​bowls​ ​look​ ​so​ ​lovely​ ​on​ ​side​ ​tables​ ​and​ ​bookshelves,​ ​or​ ​use​ ​them​ ​for​ ​snacks,​ ​or​ ​to​ ​hold​ ​trinkets​ ​and​ ​treasures.​ ​Many​ ​use​ ​them​ ​in​ ​the​ ​bathroom​ ​to​ ​hold​ ​jewelry​ ​or​ ​soaps.​ ​
